The experience
A holiday in our
log homes is an amazing experience. They are built in a traditional way
that has been popular in Russia for hundreds of years. The material and
the fact that very little machinery is used to construct the homes means
it's an environmentally friendly build.
To add to the green
credentials the homes require very little heating in the winter and cool
themselves in the summer. This is due to the material used.
The wood
We use slow grown
Pine Trees from sustainable managed forests in Russia. They provide good
thermal protection and can accumulate and give away humidity, making the
home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. For more information

The
roof
Our roofs are constructed using various material
and finishes. The
popular option is grass roofs
which absorb water
run-off, reducing pressure
on the drainage system, and cuts the chances
of flooding.
They are
seen as one of the best
ways to insulate buildings, while maintenance is
easy. |
